Born in Scotland and based in Southern California, Colin Clyne is a stylistically diverse, poetically inclined singer – songwriter reminiscent of James Taylor & Crosby Stills Nash. Born in Inverness, Scotland, in 1976, he began venturing out of the UK at age 17 to London and, Africa, with plans to study. Influenced by the towering legacies of Bob Dylan and Neil Young as well as by contemporary alt-rock UK and American artists such as Oasis and The Black Keys, he also pursued a career in music upon arriving in the US. In time he met American music producer and record label owner Marvin Glover who gave him the guidance, direction and support with the result culminating in the debut release of “Songs From The Cold Store” released on Glover’s Starving Dog Records label.
